My fourth and fifth graders are inquisitive, creative, hands-on learners! They are eager to learn and would love your support in providing more hands-on learning opportunities!
“Are we going to do something fun today?” Those are the words I hear almost daily as students enter my science classroom.
These students love completing engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box and come up with their own solutions. They are full of excitement and look forward to doing science each day. We are a small-town school with approximately 300 students. Although we are a small community, these kids have big hopes and dreams!
My Project
While science textbooks are a great resource, students need more than that in order to truly understand a concept like electricity. I would like to be able to provide hands-on experiences with different types of circuits using these kits.
Students need an opportunity to build and problem-solve in order to spark a love for science.
These circuit kits will give my students these opportunities. They will be able to put their knowledge to the test by building different types of circuits. Series or parallel? Open or closed? If it doesn't work, let's solve the problem! My students will love being able to build something that really works!
