Help me give my students a more fulfilling science experience. Being home and teaching from a school issued Chromebook and trying to draw diagrams has been a suggestion. Please help me provide better instruction for my students.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I have an amazing set of students who are a little underexposed to the world at large. They have a hunger for knowledge and love it when the material is broken down in simple terms they can relate to. My students are the reason I go on daily. They look to me and the rest of their teachers for all the love, support, and quality education that the student in bigger districts with more money get. My students are some of the best that South Carolina has to offer.
My Project
Being home with no SMART-board and no whiteboard has made it difficult to do illustrations. This iPad will help my students tremendously to see the illustrations I would have shown if we were still in the physical classroom. I have lessons that I teach, such as heredity that is made simple when the punnet square is drawn to demonstrate how the students can determine the gender and sex of offsprings. The iPad will help me with performing these demonstrations. Students will benefit from the iPad when I have to teach scientific notation and have to show them the mathematical operations.
