My Students

This year the majority of my students are encountering their first time in a school setting. They are coming from a low income area of Clermont County, Ohio They need a lot of one-on-one help, as they are 3-5 years old and some with learning disabilities.

My energetic students are very eager to learn, and they have a lot of fun doing it!

With every lesson taught, the students are expanding their minds. I have many students that will be going on to kindergarten next year, and I plan to have them equipped with all the skills that they need to be successful in their academic career.

My Project

I want to use the microscope and slides in the classroom to give the children an opportunity to see how something little can be seen bigger with it. This will encourage their minds to think more and understand science concepts.

Using these materials will help to add to our science area and encourage the children to learn.

The sound and touch bottles will help the children to identify sounds and different textures and be able to relate it to what is in their lives. The children will be able to look at the animal skeletons and understand the animal bodies.
