My Students
Our students have a love for learning and exploring new things. We want to be able to provide them the materials they deserve to help enhance their learning within our classroom.
Our students are in a Montessori classroom at a Title I partial magnet school.
They are in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade. They are a diverse group of students that learn through a variety of ways which works wonderful in a Montessori classroom. They have a passion for learning and sharing what they have learned with others. They love to explore and learn new things and enhance their creativity to expand on their learning.
My Project
My students need tools to help them to do experiments to explore science concepts. This will allow them the opportunity to test and experiment. These tools will also help them improve their math skills in real life situations.The graduated cylinders and beakers will help the students to measure liquids as well as mix materials. The thermometers will help them to learn about the changes of temperature on a variety of different materials.
These tools will bring science to real-life scenarios for my students.
The STEM kit will allow them to create their own simple machines. They will be able to create as well as adapt their constructions to learn more about simple machines.
