Help me give my students the science materials they need to make connections to the new science standards. The weather books are great for the kids to visualize the weather we don't experience in Las Vegas.
My school caters to the students and provides them an environment that is rich in learning experiences and social interactions. I not only teach my students the standards, but how to be good citizens as well.
My students really are an amazing group, whom I have come to care about very much, which is why I am trying to get this project funded for them.
Their desire to learn and their perseverance helps drive me to be a better teacher.

These science materials will help my students gain a better understanding to the world around them. Living in Las Vegas, we don't experience weather the way other parts of the world does, so by bringing in books about weather, I hope that the students can learn what other states experience.
Science is an important concept that students often miss in school.
I love teaching science and having the students work with hands on materials to make their learning experience more memorable and meaningful.
Having models and diagrams will help my students visualize, build schema, and hopefully build interest in the subject they are learning about.
