This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Robots, mad experiments, saving the world from the apocalypse! Help give students an opportunity to read in a genre new to many students in 5th grade: SCIENCE FICTION!

Students can read about aliens, science experiments, cyborgs, and alternative futures in these exciting, high interest, science fiction books.

For many students, this unit will turn them onto science fiction for life! Help them open brand new books in a new, exciting, genre! This project will fund a brand new branch in our classroom library to kick off our whole class reading of the science fiction genre.
