Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students love science. I teach a class of preschool students aged 3-4 years old. My students are curious about the world around them, they are energetic and creative. My students arrive to school each day ready to learn and explore. My students love hands-on experiences and opportunities to create that are outside of the box. My school is part of an urban public school district with students from all cultures and income for my students to grow and learn.
My Project
Small children are naturally curious creatures, these science materials will help my students be able to quench their curiosity about our environment and how things work. I am a new preschool teacher and do not have science materials. The Science Discovery Kit and Science Discovery Chest will help me be able to give my students engaging and meaningful science experiences. I believe that school should be an exciting place for students to attend every day and students should be able to engage in science lessons and experiments that make them excited about learning and want to come back to every day.
