My Students

Do you remember your first science experiment? The joy it brought to your face when you were able to discover how things work together. This is the joy that I would like to introduce to my students.

My lovely students attend a title one school.

One thing about all my students is that they believe in overcoming their circumstances no matter what grade level they are in. The students know that their learning is in their hands from the beginning of their school career.

My Project

This year I would like to present my students with more opportunities to participate in hands on activities. The science investigation kit that I am asking for will allow the student the opportunity to work with their peers to make discoveries. The books that I am asking for will allow me the opportunity to expand my students understanding of the things that occur in the world around them. The activities included in the books will allow the students to practice and master their first grade skills.

My goal in teaching is to inspire kids to think outside the box, but I believe it is important to provide them with the tools to accomplish this goal.
