We are a Title I school in a small community, in the panhandle of Florida. We are working hard to provide an enriching and rigorous learning environment for families that just do not have much. This is a high poverty area and the needs are great. My students have been through so much. They have endured Hurricane Michael and most have lost their homes. Through it all, they love coming to school. The families and students are so loving and caring and provide the very best that they can in circumstances that are daunting. The school has become even more of a backbone for the community. Thank you so much for helping these children pick up the pieces.
My Project
Students LOVE Science! Please help me enhance my lessons in and out of the Science block. Your donation will span across many subject areas all while firmly supporting Science standards. Students will have the opportunity to follow through on Science investigations on a variety of animals life cycles as well as viewing a live Painted Butterfly go through its metamorphosis. Students will be so exicted to witness this and it would be something they will always remember. The donation of the life cycle book set will create interests in the ELA black of time. How powerful!
