Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Kindergarten is about learning to love school! My class is an All-Day Kindergarten class that currently has 18 students. We are part of a low-income, Title 1 school that is dealing with severe budget cuts.
We just adopted a Science curriculum and are in desperate need of supplemental materials to use for concept reinforcement. Students need the materials to be fun and easy to use so that they can feel independently successful.
Instant Learning Centers are very child friendly and give students the extra experience with a concept in a fun and engaging way. They are designed for Kindergarten students to be able to use them independently while I as a teacher can work with them in small groups. There are 8 centers included in this set, which cover the topics of My Body, Life Cycles, Nutrition, Five Senses, Plants, Magnets, Color Mixing, and Weather/Seasons. The centers contain all the materials the students need and are ready for immediate use. Each center is designed for a small group of up to 4 students and include easy to follow picture directions, allowing the students to work independently.
Your help will ensure that my students more firmly grasp the concepts in our Science curriculum in a fun and interactive way. Centers make learning fun!
