I work with 4 year-old students. They are just wonderful. They always come to school full of energy and ready to learn.
Some of them are really shy, but when given the opportunity, they show how very smart they are.
The majority of my students qualifies for free or reduced lunch so it is not a surprise that many of them have never been exposed to much, making school the greatest thing that has happened to them (best motivation to do my best as a teacher). Colorful, educational materials will be greatly appreciated.
My students have shown great interest in Science. They spend lots of time in the Science Center experimenting, observing and sharing their hypothesis.
Adding a document camera and new equipment to the Science Center will help my students take their inquisitive nature to the next level.
Having a document camera will allow my students to zoom in on nature. As spring draws near (or any other season), they will be able to observe several natural objects up close.
Also, demonstrations of hands-on Math for the full class will be possible by projecting the manipulatives on the big screen.
The Store & Explore Science Cart will provide a place to conduct their experiments in a comfortable environment, and the Tabletop Light Panel is just the perfect age appropriate tool for scientific demonstrations & detailed observations.
