Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students have a desire to learn. They live in Flint. These students do not allow current situations that they are faced with to distract them from having a positive attitude on life and education.

My 2nd graders deserve to have a proper education with the supplies to do it.

They care about each other, love to read, and are excited to attend school. They are true scholars that desire to learn. I look forward to what the year brings.

My Project

My students will be able to use these nonfiction texts to help encourage their personal science investigations. My students will also be able to research about the different life cycles of animals, plants, and insects. The games will be used during centers to help students see what are the different cycles. My students will use the paper to write Thor investigations on and to create science projects. The white board markers will be used during workshop so students can write on their white boards to demonstrate their thinking. This project will help several students and other teachers. I will share the resources to help students learn.
