Science Books to Inspire Curious Future Scientists & Leaders
My students need non-fiction science books aligned with our NGSS standards and Amplify curriculum to extend their thinking and curiosities into the world around them.
My classes are composed of diverse, hard working 6th grade students are enjoy learning. My students are curious about the world around them.
They ask questions, reasearch topics of study that intrigue them, and have a desire to learn all they can about out our units of study (NGSS).
I enjoy working with these future scientists and hope to provide them books that’ll further explore our studies.
These resources will be available for all students throughout the year on our classroom bookcase. Students will have the opportunity to read them during class and even check them out to explore at home.
My Project
These books will help my students learn about complex science concepts as well as STEM careers. With access to these books, my students will have an enriched learning experience as they can delve deeper in topics that interest them throughout the year.
Learning about science topics should be fun, and should inspire students to investigate the world around them.
My students will be able to read about complex science concepts and STEM careers in colorful books that will inspire them to learn more and be more engaged in class. These books will supplement the lessons, SIMS (simulations), and activities in our outstanding (and new!) Amplify curriculum.
