Help me give my students high interest books on a variety of science topics. Bulletin board materials will also help me create an engaging display about careers in science.
My students are bright, engaging, young minds. Our school is an urban, inner city, Title I school. My students come from an array of incredibly diverse backgrounds. They are socio-economically, religiously, culturally, and racially very diverse. As an example, we have 22 languages spoken in our school.
Every day this diverse group of young minds comes together to share ideas as they learn.
They give me great hope for the future as they show the amazing ability to think, care, and persevere.
My Project
My third graders are curious and eager learners. They want to know more about the world around them. I would love for my students to have high interest, engaging, informative science books to read during their independent reading time. These highly engaging books will give them information while also keeping them entertained. These books will also be used during our units on the water cycle and our climate.
These books will provide students with knowledge to help them become informed citizens.
