Science, Art, and Engineering for My Youngest Learners
Help me give my students the opportunities to investigate the world around them and create new masterpieces with Roylco Light Cubes, Roylco Animal X-Rays, Constructive Playthings Pattern Blocks, and PicassoTiles building pieces!
As a STEM teacher, I have the opportunity to work with students in every grade level at my school, from pre-kindergarten through 5th grade. Our school is high-poverty, and we have a large percentage of students for whom English is not their first language.
Many of my students are limited financially, but they are eager and creative learners who love a challenge!
Our children come from many different backgrounds, but together they make one unique and amazing learning community!
I am excited to provide as many project-based, hands-on, student-driven experiences as I can for our students. It's my goal to make our STEM lab an exciting place where students can explore their curiosity and grow as learners, regardless of any challenges they face outside of the classroom.
My Project
My pre-K through second graders are creative and inquisitive, and love nothing more than the chance to explore and build when they come to STEM lab. I would love to provide them with some exciting hands-on materials that will spark their curiosity and inspire their creativity!
With these Roylco light cubes, animal x-rays, and translucent building tiles, my students will be able to explore their questions about nature, build amazing structures, and develop fine motor skills as well.
I can't wait to see my youngest scientists and engineers at work with these new resources. This will be such a fantastic way to develop inquiry practices and a love of learning in our students from the start!
