Help me give my students activities to help them learn the content being taught. The magnet kit will provide hands-on experience that the students need.
2019 is an exciting year in the 3rd-grade science and writing class. I have three rotations of classes which means that I teach over 60 students per day. My students are curious and eager to learn, especially when it comes to participating in a science experiment. The students are becoming more independent and their prior knowledge and skills show in the work that they do. The students attend a Title 1 school, and a good portion of these students are economically disadvantaged. They are a well-diversified group with cultural backgrounds that include Burmese, Nigerian, Hispanic, White and others.
My Project
These materials will help our students master the concepts being taught in their Force and Motion curriculum. In addition, science tools will be used in our upcoming lessons on ecosystems and investigating life cycles. The simple machines kit will be a wonderful addition to our classroom, and the students of 202-2021 will enjoy the hands-on building. A lot of concepts are better understood when a student can observe first hand what is taking place.
Our class size is normal, which is about 22 students per class.
The more supplies we help lower the number of students in a group activity. Our goal is to eventually have 1 to 1 supplies for each student.
