My Students

My students come from poverty-stricken backgrounds, but have a strong desire to succeed.

At this time our school qualifies for 100% free breakfast and lunch.

Each day brings new challenges for my students. These may be as simple as having clean clothes, or as complex as where they will sleep at night. With this said, my students always come to class with a positive attitude and ready to learn. They are eager to help each other be the best they can be in all areas. My students strive to be leaders in their community.

My Project

My students are very excited about science and social studies. These magazines are a perfect way for my students to expand their science and social studies content areas in an engage and thoughtful way.

Your donation will allow my students to build their vocabulary and comprehensions skills by being able to communicate what they have learned through daily exploration and dialogue with their peers.

The Let's Find Out Magazines will help my students by being a resource when creating Projects in both areas. These magazines will also provide another tool for my students to develop their reading, writing, communication, comprehension, computer, and creativity skills.
