Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The kids in our school love to read, but we don't have the books they need. Help us get exciting books in their hands they can't put down! Most of my students (90%) live far below the poverty line. This makes the job of a school even more important.
The students we teach are living in poverty, but that's just where they are starting.
They have big dreams, but they need to work hard now. They want to become scientists, artists, and mathematicians. Help them reach for those dreams!
My Project
My students love learning. Time and time again, families tell me how excited their kids are to come to school and learn. But, sometimes we don't have what we need for our lessons.
Let's fix that-- send students a huge box of school supplies to help them learn.
By choosing this project our kids will have glue sticks so kids can create projects. Kids will have new crayons, so they won't have to use broken ones anymore. Kids will have glue sticks so they can make posters and rulers so they can learn to measure things. Thank you for your help! You're making a difference for my students!
