Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students in my classroom are bright and excited learners. They would like nothing more than to learn and enjoy their school in a safe environment. They come from diverse backgrounds and enjoy coming to school. My boys and girls have the best smiles and are ready to learn new things each and every day.
Most of our students are from low-income homes, and 90% of our class consists of students who are receiving free or reduced-price lunch.
These boys and girls are book lovers who always want to learn and explore. Upon meeting these great kids, I was already hooked on their engaging and unique personalities. We are looking forward to an exceptional school year.
My Project
When thinking about the next school year, basic school supplies are needed in our classroom and every classroom. I want to provide my students with a variety of materials that will allow them to have what they need.
The earphones, mouse, and keyboard are essential in a classroom in this day and age because we are living in an era where technology is everything.
My students and I need pens, highlighters, notebooks, and a set of Matilda books. Studies have shown that when children have their own school supplies, their grades improve as well as their creativity, behavior, and feelings concerning learning.
