My students have big personalities! There is a huge mix of diversity in my classroom, including students coming from all-day kinder and 1/2 day kinder, first generation Americans, and ESL.
The one thing they all have in common is that they are achievers!
There are a lot of academic expectations in first grade, and my students do not have a lot of access to items that may help them succeed, however this does not deter them - they all have a growth mindset!
My Project
Students always need random supplies to help their educational growth. This project is about supplying students with tools that will help them succeed.
Every item will help students succeed in math or writing!
The hundred charts will be applied to every desk for easy access during math. LEGO bricks will be used as a fun math manipulative. Abacus will be available for every student to help reinforce number sense. Mask dooms will help my students hear me clearer. Writing papers will assist my students in using proper spacing in their writing. Finally, cable clips will help to keep everything organized. Think of the success my students will experience with just this supplies!
