Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

At the beginning of each year we send home a Third Grade Supply List. This list has every item the student and our classroom will need for the school year. Most of these items can be purchased at any dollar store. Unfortunately many of our parents cannot or choose not to afford the $10 or so. A lot of my students do not have warm coats or good shoes. They definitely won't have pencils, paper, crayons, or erasers. These items are essential for learning. Our school tries very hard to keep up with the demand but it is very difficult. I spend a lot of my own money buying these everyday items for my students. Please help me meet my students' needs.
