This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is an amazing place to be every day! My students are primarily English Language Learners from diverse countries such as Mexico, Guatemala, and El Salvador. Many of our students do not have access to basic school supplies, such as crayons, pencils, and paper. We strive every day to give our students the best education that we can possibly give them and to be the "most caring place on earth".

Our students are already trying to overcome so much by learning a new language that they really deserve to have the tools needed to be successful in school.

My Project

The school supplies that I am requesting will help my students in their everyday school life. The students are in need of a dependable pencil sharpener and pencil top erasers. They will be able to solve mathematical problems in the classroom.

These supplies will help my students be better prepared to tackle the everyday struggles of being a 5th-grade student.

By having a pencil sharpener and eraser caps, my students will be able to make mistakes and be willing to correct them if they are wrong. They will also be able to participate in class projects with the markers purchased.
