Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come to class full of energy and ready to learn! My class consists of mostly African American and Hispanic children. They vary from all sorts of economical backgrounds. Some of them don't have a computer at home or access to books. That's why when they come to my classroom, they love to take full advantage of the materials I have for them. I treat my students as I do my own children. As a first year teacher, I have a lot of things to continue to buy, and your donations will truly be appreciated!
My Project
Basic school supplies are something that no child should ever have to worry about not having in the first grade. I try to provide them with supplies myself, but a few weeks in the school year and we are already out of pencils, glue sticks and crayons. We go through many pencils and glue sticks a week. By providing my students with pencils, erasers, scissors, crayons and glue sticks, it will make their learning day a million times better! They will never have to worry about not having the basic school supplies that we use on a daily! They would all truly appreciate it all.
