My students need school supplies for the classroom. We need pencils, erasers, dry erase board erasers, coloring markers, and a pencil sharpener that works.

My Students
We are a part of a low-income/high poverty school, and are faced with many challenges both in and out of school. My students this year are highly motivated learners. They are an active and vibrant bunch, and love to take on new challenges and ownership of their learning. Most school supplies are provided by the teachers.
With limited resources, it is challenging to help promote student curiosity and engage students in learning.
Having more resources in the classroom is what we are striving for. We hope to be able to help close the achievement gap.
My Project
Our classroom is in desperate need of basic school supplies. We only have about 5 glue sticks to share between all the students. Our pencil sharpener doesn't work and eats all of our pencils.
Dry erase board markers would really help when learning math or phonics on our boards.
Student boards are becoming scratched and dirty by using paper towels on them.
In addition to glue sticks and a pencil sharpeners, my students need erasers and markers to help make their work polished and complete. We have been working on making posters and presenting projects, and students only have access to crayons.
