Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our diverse campus is a Title I public school that supports about 500 plus Pre-K and kindergarten students yearly. Our campus will reopen in 2 weeks and students will return for face-to-face learning.

Our classroom is devoted to our academics as well as growing kind, respectful, and responsible children.

My kiddos are clever, brilliant and a joy to work with in the class. With guidance, they can become more than friends. We are a classroom family.

My Project

Remember the smell of a new box of crayons? There's always a sense of joy that comes with new supplies and you'd be surprised to find just how much more excited children are to work with them.

My students are hard little working hornets and throughout these past few months, they have worked their supplies down to the last bits.

Help me revitalize that joy with new school supplies to fill their boxes. Every child in my classroom will receive new crayons, glue sticks, and the much erasers. It is also my hope to include painting supplies like water colors and brushes so all students can have their own set.

With social distancing in mind and a lack of cubbies, our students still need a place to hold some of their supplies. Cubes will fit perfectly in our existing book shelf and provide a safe place for each child to store some of their items.

Please know each item was selected carefully to fulfill our class needs and chosen for their budget friendly prices. We are so thankful for your help!
