This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I wish I would have known back on Friday, March 13, 2020 that it would have been my last time seeing my classroom and teaching my students all together, in one place.

There is enough uncertainty and stress in the world the last thing I want is for my students to worry about school work and school supplies.

My Project

Your first school experience can be stressful enough, but then add a pandemic and its almost unbearable.

During this uncertain time I want to create as much calm, routine, and ease as possible.

I am asking for your help in creating distance learning kits for my kindergarten students. These kits would include supplies including, white boards, markers, books, journals, and flash cards. Students would be able to use these while learning from home.

No one should have any added stress about buying more materials to use at home or to help their child's education. There is enough to worry and stress about during this uncertain time.
