Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My energetic fourth graders come to school every day eager to learn. I teach at a Title I school, and the majority of the students are on free and reduced-price lunch. Despite the many challenges they may face outside of school, they are enthusiastic and curious about the world around them. Many of them take their newfound knowledge and teach their family members at home. They take pride in their learning, and they love to learn. My fourth graders are amazing!
My Project
My fourth grade students need a new set of supplies to start off the new year right. We have used up most of the supplies that I provided this school year. We need new set of dry erase expo pens so we can continue our daily math lessons. The colored pencils and markers will help them to complete art projects that go with science, social studies, and language arts. The pencils and erasers will be used on a daily basis to complete assignments. These supplies would allow my fourth graders to start the new year with a fresh set of supplies.
