In my high school science classroom, students are valued and seen as individuals. I encourage them to express themselves and how they relate to content by using a variety of craft materials. I have learned that my students thrive academically when they are able to create tangible projects.
My students are regularly tasked with building meaningful projects that require them to engage with the content.
My students are incredibly creative. Doing projects helps them develop meaningful connections with the curriculum.
The supplies that I have asked for will supply my classes for the rest of the semester, and they may even last through part of next semester. These supplies will make a huge difference in the lives of my students and their ability to learn.
