School Store 4 Good Conduct: Kind Safe Respectful Learners
Help me give my students scented pencils, pens, erasers, squishes, & other exciting supplies to add to our school store where students will be able to shop for being kind, safe, and respectful learners.
I am blessed to teach second grade at a wonderful Title I school in northeast North Carolina. I am so excited to meet my new group of second grade students this school year. I just know they will be loving, hard-working, easily motivated, and care about each other and their success! I can't wait to get to know each one and engage, motivate and inspire them in the new school year ahead.
Our school glows bright with students that are excited to learn, work hard, and feel valued when they are given options and choices that show their interests matter!
We are a diverse school consisting of students and families from various backgrounds and cultures, as well as Coast Guard families. They are each unique and have a special way of winning our hearts with their kindness and thoughtfulness. The students and staff at our elementary school have truly become a family to one another!
My Project
Our school is implementing a schoolwide Positive Behavior Initiative Support program this year to recognize our students for being kind, safe, and respectful learners. We will be distributing bear bucks to students throughout the day for being safe, respectful learners, and when they are ready to cash in their earned bear bucks, we will have a mobile school store that will travel around to each grade level once a week to give students an opportunity to shop and use their bear bucks for the prizes and incentives requested in this project.
This project will provide exciting supplies for our Mobile School Store where students that are being kind, safe, and respectful learners will be able to shop with their bear bucks.
We will fill our school store with the items requested in this project such as smencils, scented erasers, pencil grippers, flair pens, block erasers, scented bookmarks and squishies. We polled our students to ask what they would like to see in the school store and these are the items they requested.
Thank you so much for considering our project to recognize and reward what we want to see more of in our school building: Kindness, Respect, Safety and Learning! Our students are the best, and they deserve some awesome fresh and new prizes to replace some of the older items we currently have.
