My Students

We have started an intramural soccer program at our school. We are looking to convert this program into a school club that will compete with other regional soccer teams. Many students that make up our program do not have the means to play for a soccer club and are very passionate about playing soccer.

This program will give new opportunities to students who haven't been involved in extracurricular activities yet.

I teach 7th grade and run the soccer program, and I've had the pleasure to work with these kids in and out of the classroom. They are hard workers, and they are the type of kids that anyone would be willing to go to work for.

My Project

Many of our students will have trouble coming up with the means to buy equipment for games, including soccer socks. This project will outfit a majority of our team and would cover all the students that need support buying socks. This will be the first season for our soccer league and we do not have uniforms to play games. This project will be a huge step in outfitting our kids for their games. Soccer is such an important thing in these kids' lives. For some, it is a huge motivation to do well in the classroom, and I am excited to kick it off this year!
