School Spirit is Never Overrated!

My students need shirts, bows, and organization to promote school spirit and help raise funds for competitions!

My Students

With the help of a few students, I restarted the cheerleading team exactly one year ago. The prior years, the team earned a bad reputation due to lack of leadership and commitment. Last year, we worked hard to prove ourselves to the student body and the school. We wanted to be taken seriously and earn all the advantages that the other athletic teams had.

Being on the cheerleading team has been an incredibly positive experience for many of my students.

The students gain a sense of pride wearing their gear and telling their friends they are on the team. We work to unify the student body, to promote school spirit, and to collaborate with the community.

My Project

My cheerleaders are used to getting the short end of the stick. Because we are not a revenue sport, we are constantly having to raise our own money to get the things we need. We have gone without for so long. Last year we finally got uniforms, and now I would like to expand on that. I am asking for donations of t-shirts to show our school spirit with pride, hangers to keep our uniforms in good condition, and competition bows to pull the whole look together. Seeing the pride my team got wearing their uniform is something I will never forget! I want to keep giving them things to be proud of. I want them to wear our gear at school and be proud to say they are a Cougar Cheerleader!
