My students need snacks such as crackers, granola bars, and cookies to keep them energized for learning all day long. These snacks would allow my students to stay focus on their schoolwork.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are from Chicago and come from hard-working and loving parents. They attend a large Chicago Public school and live in a high poverty neighborhood, which as you know has many challenges. Despite this, they are excited and eager to learn when they arrive to school.
My students are an amazing group of learners.
Every child at my school receives free lunch. However, several of my students are constantly asking for a snack throughout the day. My students may come from poverty, may be homeless, have a single parent in the home, or not knowing where their next meal is coming from, they are eager and ready to learn.

My Project
My students need snacks to eat through out the day and to take home at night to help them stay focused. Several of our students go without a snack through their day and are hungry. It is quite difficult to I concentrate when you’re hungry.
A snack would help my students to stay motivated during the day.
These are essentials that many of my students go without. We would be thankful for the opportunity to provide them a snack when their stomachs start to growl. Please consider helping my students. A fed student is a happy student, which makes learning easier.
