We are located in an extremely overcrowded elementary school in New York. We work very hard and appreciate learning through laughter, fun, and play. It is a long school day when all we do is sit in our seats and work.
You often hear an explosion of laughter coming from my classroom.
A second grade is an awesome place for any child to be. I am a second-grade teacher for a very eager and excitable group of children. I am truly a lucky teacher.
My students want everyone to know that we are always very proud of our school. While talking to some students I realized that we need T-shirts. These shirts will identify our school and pride rapidly. Hence the concept of printed t-shirts was born. I think children are the best artists in the world. Ericka came up with a great design.
Our t-shirts have a boy and girl holding stars.
Over their heads is a rainbow that says "P.S. 106 Reaching For The Stars." The class was thrilled with the design, but now we have to get the t-shirts printed. I asked our local vendor, who works with the school, if he could make these t-shirts. He was more than happy to make the shirts and actually gave us a good price.
These shirts will be worn every Friday and on our class trips. They will definitely be the cornerstone of building a positive classroom community.
