My Students

Every morning, our school shouts out our motto, which describes them as being leaders, responsible, respectful, resourceful, and proud. My students follow this motto in school and in life.

My students come from a city that has been considered one of the most dangerous cities in America.

Despite that, they are creating their own path to a successful future. It amazes me to see how fully engaged they are to learn each and every day. I feel privileged to teach such a great group of kids.

My Project

Our school is lucky enough to have a school garden! As the science teacher, I teach my students the importance of a garden! Our students live in a city where most people do not have gardens at home. I want to show my students how easy it is to create and maintain a garden.

This lifelong skill of growing a garden will stay with them forever!

My students are very excited to get started on the garden this year! With your help, we can have a successful gardening year! Thank you in advance for your continued support to my classroom!
