Scholastic Reading Equals Success

Help me give my students some grade-level texts to read during our small group reading time. These Scholastic magazines will help my students in person and remote learning.

My Students

I teach in a rural, farming community where over half of my students are from low-income households. While we have tremendous support from our parents and community, we are vastly under-funded. The lack of funding limits opportunities for students to create and explore. My goal is to close the opportunity gap for our low-income students by providing materials for our classroom to remote learn.

My students are brilliant and full of love.

My students are the hardest working kiddos in our school.They have a passion for learning even during this trying time.

My Project

I found these Scholastic magazines and knew they would be just what we needed! We can do our county adopted curriculum for the first 30 minutes of class and then for the last 30 minutes we could work on reading texts on their level.

The Scholastic magazines look amazing and I know that my students will love the colors and images throughout the magazines AND if we get funded Scholastic will provide us with paper copies and a digital copy so I can share my screen with my virtual students.

These magazines seem perfect for our situation this year! We would love your support in growing our reading abilities :)
