Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are growing up an in a low-economic area, and it is vital to have the school supplies they need in order to stay competitive with other school districts.

These students show up to school with an enthusiasm for learning and would be grateful for any donations our classroom receives.

These donations would enhance the educational experience that these students are receiving and would help further their understanding of the materials that are being covered in class. Thank you so much for considering our classroom!

My Project

Having these magazines would be a great resource for the students here in first grade. It would be an additional reading activity for them to have, and it would update them on current events going on around them.

These non-fiction texts would be a great asset as the students look to further their literature skills.

We would use them periodically, and it would be beneficial to have something else for them to read that is of interest. Many students want to learn more about science and social studies, which these magazines tend to incorporate often times in their pieces. Having something that interests them is great to develop the students love of learning.
