My Students

I will be meeting my second graders next week and I am so excited! I love teaching second grade. The children are sweet and so eager to learn at this age. Most second graders want to make their teacher happy. They are excited about school.

I have been working hard in my classroom trying to get everything ready for Tuesday (Meet The Teacher Night) and I can't wait to meet my new second graders!

I know this year will be a great one!

My Project

Scholastic News Magazines are amazing! They touch on many different subjects throughout the year. Not only are they fun for the students to read and learn from, but they follow the standards. My daughter was in second grade last year and her teacher had scholastic news. When I asked her if she liked reading them, she said yes and said she hopes she gets to have them when she goes into third grade.

I hope that I get to use Scholastic News in my classroom this year!
