My students need Scientific information about their world written with terrific vocabulary and shown with actual photographs. The writing and illustrations in this magazine will give us awesome conversations about our world.

This is a bright and active group of five- and six-year-old children. They love to create and tell stories. They love to read and be read to. They are quickly learning to work together which is a vital skill in our world. My children work in small groups and independently throughout the day.
We grow in all areas by practicing and playing together.
Writing throughout the day in science, social studies, math, and even in art helps us in so many ways. We get noisy, but we learn so much together. We need supplies to grow as readers, writers, and illustrators. We need to show the colors of our ideas. There is so much to learn.
This is kindergarten. My students need access to actual information about their world, presented with clear illustrations. They need text that is simple but accurate. They need access to scientific vocabulary that they can build on as they grow.
These Scholastic My Big World With Clifford News Papers provide these things and much more.
Using these papers gives us a shared reading opportunity that is very needed. We get to connect to the seasonal changes that we are facing and see ow plants and animals adapt. We will practice new vocabulary words, graph pictures, study our environment and make connections to text, our world and each other. We get to grow!
