My students need Scholastic News and Science Spin.
A typical day in our classroom consist of all of the typical subjects. While most students enjoy school, they are thirsting for more. They really enjoy science and social studies.
My students are wonderful.
They are a class that is really intelligent. They love to be challenged. Several of the students come from low income homes. We have a small school with one class per grade. We don't receive a lot of funding. We host fundraisers to help fill the gap.
My students need updated science and social studies materials. The "Scholastic News" and "Science Spin" do a great job integrating science and social studies through reading. These magazines will help get my students that don't enjoy reading to be excited about reading again.
My project will make a difference in my students.
They will enjoy reading. Reading will become fun for them. My students will also learn many new things related to science and social studies.
