My students need21 subscriptions to the preschool magazine, My Big World with Clifford. Each magazine has developmentally appropriate activities that are theme based.

My Students

How do pumpkins grow? What is the life cycle of a frog? Why do caterpillars spin a chrysalis before becoming a butterfly? These are but just a few of the questions we would like to have answered this year!

The preschool students that I teach attend a program that is funded by Title I.

This means that we are funded by grants as well as federal money. The children come from diverse economic backgrounds. Many of the children do not have access to books or other resources that are essential to supporting pre-reading skills.

My Project

"My Big World With Clifford" is a Scholastic magazine for preschool students. It is sent out to the classroom bi-monthly. A wide range of topics as well as holidays are featured. Each magazine incorporates developmentally appropriate activities that are appealing to preschool aged children.

Your donations will ensure that preschool children are receiving important and relevant information about the world around them.

The children will also be able to take this resource home to their family. It is a great way for parents to reinforce what is taught in the classroom.
