My students need a set of Scholastic magazines to learn more about current events. The magazines will provide my students the opportunity to learn more about nonfiction text features.

My Students

I am a lucky teacher of second grade students. My students aim to please and are always interested in learning something new.

I find that it is very important to keep my students engaged and excited about learning.

The best way to do this is by providing them with hands-on materials and resources that focus on current events. This allows my students the opportunity to learn more about what is taking place in the world around them. In addition, it makes learning a lot more fun!

My Project

The set of Scholastic magazines will make a huge difference in my students' education throughout the entire school year.

The Scholastic magazines cover current events and interesting trends.

The articles provide a springboard for great discussions and hands-on activities. The text features are essential in teaching my students how to read and understand nonfiction. I have found the colorful images and detailed layout captivate my students' attention. In addition, students are able to reread the articles to enhance their overall reading fluency and comprehension. Parents love seeing the magazines come home. It provides another source of reading material within the home.
