This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
The Dart Plane Kit will teach motion as they see how the work of Daniel Bernoulli and Sir Isaac Newton helps explain flight. Scholars will also learn how lift and gravity, two of the four forces of flight act on an airplane while it is in the air. Additionally, scholars will experiment with the Bernoulli Principle using the STEM Starter Balloon Cars.
Students will be able to have hands-on experience making a simple balloon car that is loaded with physics and engineering concepts!
When you inflate a balloon, it stores potential energy in the form of stretched rubber and compressed air inside. When they release the balloon, this energy is converted to kinetic energy—the energy of motion. Some of the energy is also converted to heat due to friction.
(Delta Large Magnetic Compass). Students will go on scavenger hunts to learn directions with their compass. Learning how to use a compass is one of the best things that you can teach a child. It is simple: compass learning can help a kid navigate a hike or even while they are on a car trip. Basic compass concepts can really help in a variety of stages of life.
The Painted Lady Butterfly Life Cycle Stages Set will teach my students the life cycle of the butterfly.
Being a science and technology school emphasis is always placed on how science integrates with the real world!
