Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school is a Title I school with students from second to sixth grade. My students are from the inner city and are mostly English Language Learners. Our school is a pilot school. The school's philosophy focuses on leadership skills with an emphasis on critical thinking.
My students are hardworking, resourceful, and self-motivated young people who are eager to be lifelong learners.
The majority of the students who attend our school will be the first in their families to attend college.
My Project
This project will allow my students to have supplies ready when needed. Transitions will go a lot smoother when students have access to supplies readily. All the materials requested will be put to use immediately.
Being organized makes everything else easier.
It helps students get to work faster without wasting time looking for stuff. One way is to keep assignments and class information organized by subject. The paper will help students categorize classwork. The pens will assist with focused note-taking. The Algebra tiles is an interactive way to build a foundation for the subject. The markers will help students distinguish steps when they work in groups.
