Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is a Title I school which means the majority of our scholars are from low socioeconomic backgrounds. My second-grade students will benefit from having a computer tablet in our classroom.

Our Classroom Motto is: “If I want to I can because Wanting to is Being Able To!”

“¡Si yo quiero, yo puedo, porque Querer es Poder!”

My scholars are encouraged every day to do their BEST, practice, practice, bring improvement and with the improvement, you get GOOD RESULTS, with good results you can reach your GOAL!

My Project

Students will use the tablet to access a variety of educational applications that they currently are not able to access. They will be able to access digital libraries, which will greatly expand the amount of literature available to them. They will have access to a wealth of STEM-related resources which will do wonders in building their capacity in the content areas as well as help them to strengthen their academic English. The wealth of ESL applications available is astounding and I only want the opportunity to expose my scholars to the best possible learning opportunities. My scholars deserve the best!
