"The science of today is the technology of tomorrow." -Edward Teller
My classroom holds a buzz of activity and is focused on giving kids the opportunities that they may not get elsewhere.
Each of the students in my class is a vibrant, excited learner who looks for the next opportunity to gain knowledge.
Each child in my classroom is a unique learner who comes to school each day ready to achieve at the highest levels. As a teacher, it is my job to encourage the students to explore paths that they show a marked interest in. I also see it as my job to show my students that learning can be magical.
My Project
In the day and age of technology creating opportunities for students to create videos to show their learning and understanding of content is important. This LEGO building will add to the town already started in my classroom. Throughout the year I teach my students how to create stop-motion videos. One medium that is always a hit is LEGOs. I have been working to build up a town and various scenes that are already done and created so that students can focus on learning how to make stop-motion videos.
This Brick Bank will be a great addition to our class LEGO Town.
LEGOs are always a hit in my classroom. I use them all the time for many different activities. Combining LEGOs and stop-motion videos to show understanding has definitely increased the engagement level in my classroom.
