This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students attend a Title 1 elementary school in San Antonio, Texas. We are a school that works very hard to give our students the same learning opportunities and advantages as other schools.

These tiny, yet mighty, students would love to have our classroom enriched with customized learning activities!

Not every learner has the same ability to grasp new concepts as quickly as their peers might. This is where I get to differentiate my instruction by creating learning materials that give our students a push in the right direction.

My Project

My students need a Brother Scan N Cut 2 machine to make individualized learning materials, classroom bulletin boards, anchor charts and decor. Having this machine available for my students will make a huge difference in our classroom environment and our learning. Due to budget, we try to make our resources for our students meaningful and memorable. We will be able to make great bulletin boards, anchor charts, name tags, center signs and more!

Using this newer technology will give us the ability to make learning individualized for each student!

When students struggle to gain a concept, it can be frustrating for them and disheartening. With this machine, I can make and cut out flashcards, game boards, and other learning centers that will make the kids feel successful and boost their scores.
