Our Class will be using lots of technology in the classroom. One particular area of interest is scanning photos for projects, homework RI be sent to parents over the teacher web page for next year. One area of the No Child Left Behind is to have parents involved with learning every day. The use of a scanner would benefit this process. As a classroom teacher in first grade we would use a scanner to show weekly lesson plans on the teacher web page. We have a Home SCHOOL CONNECT PROGRAM by where students in our school have Internet access. By using the scanner more students would have access to information in the home first hand. Students would use the scanner to do projects, photos and other work relevant to our NC Standard Course of study. Student project will benefit and we will us this for parent participation as well. In this day and age as one of my smarter students said to me this year, \"Mrs. Davis it would be nice to have a scanner in our room to make pictures from our field trips and to write stories to send home on our web page.\" \"Yes, I replied it would be.\" So this is what I am trying to do to make my classroom a better place for learning.
