I have 21 amazing children who are all 5 years old! We have 11 girls and 10 boys in our class this year. We live in a rural area on the eastern shore of Maryland not too far from Annapolis. We have children from two-parent families, single parent families, and several who speak English as a second language. About 30% of our class gets free or reduced-price meals, and a few take home a bag of food each weekend from our local Backpack Club food pantry program. These boys and girls are excited to learn and are extremely hard workers who like to please their teachers! These children are excited to learn and grow in their first full-day school experience!
My Project
Children love to learn with engaging, hands-on materials. And guess what? Their teacher loves to create them, but struggles to get them all cut out and prepared as quickly as she'd like to! The Scan 'n Cut machine will help provide many learning materials and can greatly help these children and their teacher out!

A Scan n' Cut with accessories would help make learning centers, nametags, math games, brag tags, and retelling pieces, among other items too! My kindergarten students and I would be extremely appreciative for any funding toward this endeavor. Thank you!
