My Students

My students are part of a very small school community in a very rural area; we are also considered a high-poverty school. Our school has an awesome, small community atmosphere. We care about each other, and it is common to hear students asking teachers about their weekend or how their family is and vice versa. My students are hard-working, inquisitive, and love to learn. They strive to do their very best every day. One of the best things about our school is our amazing students!

My Project

Thanks to donors and the million dollar match yesterday I was able to obtain frogs for my class. I'd like to now be able to get new dissection tools for my students. We have older tools here that could work but many items are missing. We don't have pins or good forceps. We have a few scalpels and scissors and they are in rough shape.

With your help donors, I'd like to put the best tools possible in my students' hands.

These project will help them have the best lab experience possible! These hands-on experiences are the ones that help fuel student interest in job fields that will be in high demand in the next 10 years.
