Help me give my students access to text and videos. Our students are English Language Learners or Students with Varied Abilities who benefit from Text-To-Speech adaptations when working individually.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our Title I high needs inner city school is a diamond in the rough! We are housed in a beautiful 100 year old building that may pose some challenges that we are all willing to conquer! We are a predominantly immigrant neighborhood.
Ben Franklin said “Well done is better than well said.” This is a motto in our classroom.
Student centered projects are a main main focus within our room as well as the use of technology! Students are excited to use technology to create their own understanding of history.
My Project
Today's NYC classroom is wildly different from classrooms of the past. Technology has become an integral part of learning. Which has been amazing for so many students who have varied needs. Differentiation has become easier and more targeted.
Our English Language Learners and Students with Varied Abilities are being provided with new technology that helps them be more successful than ever before!
The ability to provide them with headphones would give the students an opportunity to access supports such as Text-To-Speech and listen more closely to support or anchor videos made by the teacher.
